To set up GPRS to access WAP or to use multi media services (MMS), depending on the type of your mobile device, you will be sent service settings to your device as a SMS (text message).

This is quick and simple and will take no more than a few minutes to complete.

Please note that these settings are for BT business customers only.

what is GPRS?

General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) provides you with a fast, permanent connection to the mobile Internet enabling you to access WAP faster and lots more.

what is WAP?

Wireless Access Protocol (WAP) enables you to view the mobile Internet on the screen of your mobile device.

what is MMS?

Multi Media Services (MMS) allows you to send and receive colour pictures and video messages.

Choose your network

Please select which network appears on your mobile device screen:

Enter your mobile number

Please enter your mobile number in the box below and click 'continue'. A one-time PIN code will then be sent via SMS to your mobile device.

Make sure you enter your mobile number without any spaces in the following format (07712345678).

how can I find out which network I am on?

To identify your network switch on your mobile device. Look to see whether ‘BT’ or ‘O2’ is displayed on your mobile device screen.

BT cannot be held responsible for any lost or changed settings that occur during the configuration process. However, if you have any difficulties configuring your mobile device please contact your BT account manager or call BT Customer Services using the number on the top of your Welcome Letter or bill.
